Between Worlds

Late this morning, the clouds drifted overhead in scattered fleets, opening windows of blue between their white sails.

Some days the sky feels ordinary.

Today it felt like a landscape.

A hill rising toward a distant tower. Islands of cloud floating across an endless blue sea. Sunlight slipping through gaps like pathways waiting to be followed.

The weather itself was quiet, with broken cumulus clouds passing overhead and plenty of blue sky still visible. Nothing dramatic. No storms marching across the horizon.

Just a sky that invited imagination.

And sometimes that is enough.

The clouds gathered and separated throughout the morning, constantly reshaping themselves. Every glance upward revealed a new arrangement, a new possibility.

I often wonder if cloud watching is really about the clouds at all.

Perhaps it's about remembering how to imagine.

"The sky was not hiding the sun today. It was simply telling its story one cloud at a time." ☁️📖✨
