About The Curious Cloud Journal
About The Curious Cloud Journal
Welcome.
If you've found your way here, there's a good chance you've looked up at the sky and wondered about it too.
The Curious Cloud Journal is part weather journal, part nature diary, and part daydream. It began with a simple habit of stepping outside, looking up, and taking a photograph of whatever the sky happened to be doing that day.
Sometimes that means documenting towering storm clouds, tornado watches, or dramatic sunsets.
Other days it means watching a single fair-weather cloud drift across a blue sky or noticing the way sunlight paints silver edges around an ordinary afternoon cloud.
You'll find a little of everything here:
☁️ Daily cloud observations
🌦️ Weather notes and changing conditions
📷 Original sky photography
✍️ Poems, reflections, and quiet moments of wonder
🎨 Artistic inspiration drawn from the sky
🌿 The beauty found in everyday weather
While I enjoy learning the science behind clouds and weather, what draws me outside each day is something much simpler.
Wonder.
When I look at the sky, I don't just see cloud types or weather systems. I see landscapes, oceans, mountains, castles, brushstrokes, and stories that exist for only a few moments before the wind changes them forever.
Every sky is unique.
Every cloud is temporary.
Every day offers something different to notice.
My hope is that this little journal encourages you to pause for a moment, look up, and discover something beautiful in the sky above your own home.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing this journey with me.
The sky always has another story.
I'll be back soon to listen. ☁️
